We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. As a Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers.

They provide actionable insights and decision-support tools to venture capital & private equity funds, investment banks, consultants and corporate executives. They track nearly 1 million of the most promising companies worldwide, using a combination of user-generated data, machine learning, and manual curation. Their mission is to enable better and faster investment decisions in the venture capital market. Thats why they are looking for a highly driven individual in B2B IT Sales. Your task is to identify potential clients and engage with them to understand their needs and help them bring their data to the next level.

Job description

  • Developing new business opportunities through existing and new clients
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Oversee, lead and train existing sales team while implementing a clear go-to-market strategy
  • Provide leadership for the team to ensure that KPI’s are clearly defined and met
  • Conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
  • Work closely with CEO and CMO to prepare marketing, advertising, PR and promotional activities

Asked

  • 8+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably at a startup, scaleup or fast-growing company, with a demonstrable track-record
  • Self-motivated, multitasking and proactive. Ability to work within a multicultural and fast-paced work environment
  • Strong interest in business: startups, venture capital and ecosystems
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, analytical and methodical
  • Master’s degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in English, other European language is an advantage
